Client Challenge
Like most accounting firms, Horne LLP was regularly in the battle to recruit and retain highly talented professionals. A 500-person Georgia firm, Horne wanted a high quality, affordable system to manage Flexible Work Arrangements across its 12 offices. It turned to the lead firm in its network, RSM McGladrey which both used and recommended R&C’s FlexWise™ suite. A careful review indicated that the tools could be used with only modest customization.
FlexWise™ Intervention
R&C worked closely with Horne staff to make the customary cosmetic changes on the guidelines – firm name and logo, preferred terms for
FWAs, etc. Additional changes were made in some content, and all were done within the basic fees for the project and well within the agreed-upon timeline.
Organizational Outcome
The HR staff found the system to be straightforward and well-received by partners, managers and staff. Rollout to all the firm’s offices proved quite simple. The introduction of this system in a small firm demonstrated that the same tools and infrastructure that enable transactions in a large organization are equally effective in a small one. |
